Principle of screw air compressor

The working principle of a screw air compressor is to draw in and compress air through the rotation of the main and secondary screws.

The main operating process of a screw air compressor is divided into four stages: intake, sealing and delivery, compression, and exhaust. As the rotor rotates, negative pressure is created on the intake side of the rotor, allowing outside air to enter the compression chamber through the intake port. As the rotor rotates, the intake air is gradually compressed within the rotor slots, increasing the air pressure and temperature. When the air is compressed to a certain level, it is discharged from the compression chamber through the exhaust port, at which point the air pressure has reached the required operating pressure.
